Introduction
ProfitPad (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated as a sole trader and is the developer of the ProfitPad mobile application (the “App”).
This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your information when you use our App.
- Financial Data: Expenses, income, invoices, and related financial records you create
- Account Information: If you use RevenueCat for Pro purchases, basic subscription information
- Settings: Currency, date format, themes, and other app preferences
- Images: Receipt photos you upload for expense tracking
- Contact Info: If you contact us for support
- Usage Data: How you use the App (features accessed, time spent)
- Device Information: Device type, OS version, app version
- Diagnostic Data: Crashes, errors, and performance metrics
- Camera/Photo Library: Only when you explicitly grant permission to access them
We use collected information to:

3. Data Storage
3.1 Local Storage
- All financial data is stored locally on your device by default
- You can export your data as CSV or backup as ZIP
- You maintain full control over your data
3.2 Cloud Backup (If Enabled)
- Backups are encrypted using your device’s secure storage
- We do not store your financial data on our servers
- Only backup metadata (timestamps, file checksums) are logged

4.1 RevenueCat (For Pro Purchases)
- Handles all payment processing for Pro subscriptions

- Used to build and deliver the App

5. Permissions
ProfitPad requests the following permissions:

All permissions are optional. You can deny them, and the App will still work (just without those features).
6. Data Retention
- On Your Device: Kept until you delete the App or manually delete records
- Backups: Retained as long as you keep them in your account
- Deleted Data: Permanently deleted when you remove records or uninstall the App
- Server Logs: Kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging
7. Children’s Privacy
ProfitPad is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it immediately.
8. Data Security

- ✅ Regular security audits and updates
- ✅ No unencrypted transmission of financial data
However, no method is 100% secure. You assume risk for any unauthorized access to your device.

- Deletion: Delete your account and data
- Portability: Export your data
- Opt-out: Disable analytics or optional features

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
